Everything you need to build and share demos

Go to the free sandbox and paste a public URL. InstaDemo clones the page into a secure sandbox frame, and you click through the flow you want to show — three or four clicks is usually enough. Each click becomes a step, and an AI-written tooltip explains it automatically.

No login is required to try it. When you're ready to save the result, sign up (or log in) and it's added to your dashboard. Free accounts can save up to 3 demos; paid plans are unlimited.

Open any saved demo from the dashboard to reach the visual editor — a split view with your step list on the left and the live cloned page on the right. Click a step to jump to it, then rewrite the tooltip text, move it (top/bottom/left/right), or reorder and delete steps.

A demo stays a draft until you click Publish. Publishing is what makes the share link and embed code live — you can unpublish at any time to pull it down without losing your work.

Every published demo gets a public link at tryinstademo.com/v/… — no login required to watch it, and it loads fast enough to sit inside a normal web embed. The editor's Share tab has the direct link and a copy-paste <iframe> snippet for dropping it straight onto your landing page.

Update the source page? Record again over the same demo, tweak the new steps, and republish — that's the whole advantage over a video walkthrough, which goes stale the moment your UI changes.

The public sandbox only sees pages a visitor could reach without an account. To record a flow behind a login — an onboarding sequence, a dashboard, a settings screen — install the InstaDemo Chrome extension from the connect page, which links it to your account in one click.

It only records the tab you start it in, only while you're actively recording, and you can blur any sensitive field before saving. Authenticated capture is available on the Growth and Pro plans.

Every account has a personal team by default. Invite teammates from Settings to share one demo library instead of everyone building in isolation. On a paid team, owners and admins can see everyone's demos, not just their own — members otherwise see what they've created.

InstaDemo can be connected to Claude as a remote MCP connector, so Claude can create and review demos on your behalf without leaving the conversation. It's a one-click OAuth connection — Claude sends you here to log in (if you aren't already), shows exactly what it's asking permission for, and you approve or deny it.

Once connected, Claude can:

• List your existing demos
• Look up one demo's details
• Clone a URL into a new demo on your account
• Pull view/lead performance stats for a demo

It can't delete demos, touch billing, or change account settings — the connection is scoped to those four actions only. Add or manage it from Claude's connector settings, and revoke access there at any time.

Free covers the sandbox and up to 3 saved demos. Growth removes that limit, adds the Chrome extension, expiring-never share links, embeds, and drops the InstaDemo watermark.
